| The Leshan Buddha statue located at Leshan, Sichuan, China. The largest Buddha statue in the world, it is carved out by Buddhist monks over 1000 years ago which took over 90 years to complete. It stands over 233 feet high and 90 feet wide.  The small picture doesn't do justice. | |

| The statue is absolutely amazing! I haven't heard anything about it, so thank you for sharing. I think it's a wonderful experience to visit the sculpture first hand. I don't know what to say about the left side stairs, though  | |
